Fort Eisenhower In-Person Bringing in the Bystander® Military Train-the-Trainer Workshop

The training will take place in the Eisenhower Conference & Catering building: 19th St., Bldg. 18400
Fort Eisenhower, Georgia 

Registration Fees: $475 per person.

Cost includes access to download the electronic training packet materials as well as a hardcopy training packet that contains one easy-to-use Facilitator Guide sent via mail to each attendee. Facilitator Guides are only provided to organizations with licenses for Version 3 & Version 3.23.

Note: Soteria Solutions reserves the right to cancel or postpone the training if the required minimum of 20 attendees has not been met.

Eligibility: Registrants must have a current Bringing in the Bystander® Curriculum license, which does not expire within 6 months of training dates.*

Description of event: In-Person Train-the-Trainer Workshop

Overview/Summary:

This one-day train-the-trainer workshop will train facilitators to implement the Bringing in the Bystander® Military Adapted Prevention Program*.

Attendees will gain the skills to facilitate the program themselves as well as adapt and implement the curriculum for their audiences.

Participants will

  1. Receive an overview of the BITB curriculum with experienced trainers.

  2. Apply trauma-informed facilitation skills.

  3. Learn strategies for adapting BITB to unique community cultures.

  4. Understand the facilitation and adaptation of the BITB curriculum.

  5. Practice bystander intervention strategies.

  6. Expand professional networks with other attendees.

If you would like to renew your license early and receive the latest BITB license version (v3.23), we are happy to help you. Renewing your license extends your license time three years beyond its natural expiration. You will not lose any license time. Contact Casey at casey.laplante@soteriasolutions.org.

Additional Details/requirements, details:

  • Prior to shipping hardcopy materials to attendees, participating organizations must have valid license agreement and payment processed. Materials shipped within one week of training will require rush shipping and the participating organization will be responsible for rush shipping charges.
