Description of event: Virtual High School ‘Office Hours’ with a Lead BITB Trainer

Eligibility: Registrants must have a current Bringing in the Bystander® High School Curriculum license, that does not expire within 6 months of event date.*
Duration: 1 hour; 12pm – 1pm ET
Overview/Summary:
Soteria Solutions offers monthly virtual Office Hours for any current license holder of the Bringing in the Bystander High School Program. You are encouraged and welcome to attend Office Hours to learn from one of our lead trainers and to learn from other attendees.
This unique opportunity offers you the opportunity to receive consultation, ideas and guidance from our expert lead trainers, and in some instances the authors of the program!

Could you or others in your community benefit from a refresher on facilitating the training?
Join any or all sessions to ask our experienced trainers about:
Trauma-informed facilitation skills.
Strategies for adapting BITB High School to unique school cultures.
Understanding the facilitation and adaptation of the BITB High School curriculum.
Practicing bystander intervention strategies.
Learning from other attendees.
*Current version of Bringing in the Bystander High School is Version 1.23.

If you would like to renew your license early and receive the latest BITB version, we are happy to help you. Renewing your license extends your license time three years beyond its natural expiration. You will not lose any license time. Contact Casey at casey.laplante@soteriasolutions.org
Target Audience: (who should attend?): Program coordinators, trainers who will be implementing the program and training others to facilitate, and facilitators (people who will be delivering the program to students), administrators, community partners, rape crisis centers and other resource providers.
Agenda or objectives: Have a question or topic you would like our lead trainer to address during an upcoming session, reach out to Casey at casey.laplante@soteriasolutions.org to submit in advance in order to make sure your question/topic gets addressed.

Additional Details / requirements:
Participating organizations must have a valid license for BITB High School program.
Video/Audio: This training requires attendees to have a microphone and a web camera. Attendees should be ready to attend this highly interactive session with video and microphone on. If attendees do not feel comfortable interacting virtually with trainers and other attendees, their questions can be submitted to casey.laplante@soteriasolutions.org at least 1 hour prior to the office hour session they plan to attend. Depending on the attendance size of the session, Soteria Solutions cannot guarantee every question or topic will be able to be addressed during one session, but our team will work to answer your questions at a following session or via follow-up.
Soteria Solutions reserves the right to cancel a session if there are no registered attendees at least 1 day prior to the scheduled session.
