Three Soteria Projects Included in the National Academies Action Collaborative
by Lee Helmken Cherry, MPH, CHES
Soteria Solutions has been proud to be part of the Partner Network of the Action Collaborative on Preventing Sexual Harassment in Higher Education, an initiative of the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, where 55+ colleges, universities, and other research and training organizations identify, develop, and implement efforts that move beyond basic legal compliance to evidence-based policies and practices for addressing and preventing all forms of harassment. Each year, member and partner network organizations submit their most significant and innovative work to be included in the Sexual Harassment Collaborative Repository. The Action Collaborative is guided by the 2018 National Academies Report, Sexual Harassment of Women: Climate, Culture, and Consequences in Academic Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
Participating organizations shared 31 new descriptions of work for 2023-2024, three of which we are extremely proud to share, are recent Soteria Solutions projects:
Prosocial Bystander Intervention Training for National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine
Soteria Solutions collaborated with the National Academies' to develop a customized prosocial bystander intervention training program that addressed intersectionality and power differentials.
Workplace Solutions - NOAA Federal Employees Annual Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Prevention Module

Workplace Solutions - NOAA Sexual Assault And Sexual Harassment Prevention Targeted Poster Campaigns
